She Wants

he drank his beer slowly
as condensation dripped

and she stared
with her mouth open

on a hot summer day
with sticky clothes

after his gulp 
he noticed the
desire
in her eyes

he put his bottle 
down and went 
inside

got all prettified
and gave himself 
two thumbs up 
in the mirror
before he went 
back outside

such disappointment
in his face
as he saw her
drinking the last of 
his beer

she just wanted a drink from
his bottle
