great partners in crime
you and me
i could listen to you
for hours
talking about hummingbirds
with nightmares
and bedsheets that gossip
we'd sit on the wooden swing
out back
and have intellectual talks
like those smartest
of poets
our stories with no endings
and alternate worlds
with roaches in bathwater
and good versus evil
sometimes the damsel finds her
true love
other times she just
goes crazy!
nothing written on paper
to keep things fresh,
interesting
with our creative stories
we'd be some
