"The Past"

Here he comes, a handsome soul

No chance I had, he's in control,

His support, I did enjoy,

Wanted more of this grown boy.

So much fun, I thought we had,

Our expressions, never sad

But one day he said, "We're finished!!"

That is when my dreams diminished.

Obsessed I was with thoughts of him,

Couldn't eat, became too slim

Few months went by, I met another

Then, I wondered...'Should I bother?'

"little turtle" poem

Little turtle, where do you go?

Your heavy legs, they are too slow.

Little turtle, fast cars zoom by.

Are you afraid that you might die?

I wish that I could take you home.

but then you'd have no place to roam.

I hope you reach your destination.

You will in time with dedication.

"cheating" poem

cheating is choice, not an accident
all those lustful nights with her you spent.
rotten man you've always been.
you don't know God, so it's not sin.
you don't care of how you act
or how your four kids will react.
Do you feel bad even a little?
The trust that was became so brittle.
How could you lust after another?
Your wife at home, she is a mother.
The pain you gave, a scar it made
When they all know, they'll feel betrayed.
But who cares about them, right?
You're sneaking out again tonight.

Confused haiku

scrambled thoughts running
eyes are closed, begin to cry
stress, fear, intertwined
